Specially developed to allow the neck support to be rolled inside to let them cuddle in to feel safe and protected from Day 1. Once they are around 6 months old and can hold their head upright, the front outward carry position is perfect for around 20 minutes at a time to let them see the world face on. The back inward carry position has been the go-to position for centuries and can be used from 6 months to give your child a view over your shoulder.
When can I start putting the baby in the Amya Carrier?
Once your baby grows to 50 cm and weighs 3.2 kg, you can begin your adventures with the Amya Carrier. If you can see half their ear, then they are at the right height but ensure they are in the hip-healthy M position with their spine supported in the curved C shape while positioning your baby’s bottom correctly in the carrier.
Is the Amya Carrier designed for all body types?

The waist belt and the shoulder straps can be tightened or loosened from the front or back as you walk to give more support when you need it.

The sternum strap is used to improve the integrity of the structure and helps to distribute the weight away from your shoulders when the shoulder straps are parallel.
What is the advantage of the leg loops?
By reducing the circumference of the leg openings, the leg loops provide support for smaller babies. Once they are too tight for your baby, you should then stop using them.
Why is it important to secure the waist belt buckle with the elastic loop?
If the buckle buttons were accidentally pressed, this elastic loop ensures the waist belt stays secure and keeps your child safe.
How should the shoulder straps be worn?
